Can you help the SMA? Tell your Stage Management colleagues about The National Stage Management Census for ALL SM's.
The
SMA are conducting a National Stage Management Census and are keen for non
members to take part. To take part they should please register at census@stagemanagementassociation.co.uk (title email "National Stage Management Census") so that we can email
you information and the census form.
The
SMA promise not to use email addresses for recruitment or any other
purpose.
(SMA Professional, Associate and 2012 Graduate
members will be registered for the census automatically in January 2013)
The
aim is to collect valuable information which will help to support the industry
and stage management jobs and conditions, and get statistics that no-one can
argue with. Stage managers are at the creative heart of theatre, and wherever
we are working actors, directors, crews
and technicians are also working, so this will be like a 'litmus test' for the
health of theatre in the UK, but we do need ALL stage management to take part
for maximum effect.
There will be a prize draw from all NON-MEMBER'S email addresses we receive by
the end of January 2013 with valuable prizes on offer. (And for members
mentioned in these emails a prize draw for them as well!). We are also offering
a special EXTRA Xmas gift to non-members who register for the census before
Xmas."
