Freelance Metalworker and Stage Technician
I am looking for work as a freelance metalworker/stage engineer, stage technician and set rigger. I have 30 years experience working in all forms of live performance ranging from car launches to the circus in both conventional buildings and site specific spaces.
I have also worked backstage in numerous theatres and more recently have concentrated on fabrication. For the last eleven years I have been WorkshopForeman at the Royal Opera House Workshops where in addition to leading a team of about ten full time and freelance carpenters I created and led a metalworking department of five within the workshop.
