Rope Assemblies Ltd, an ISO registered company, was formed in 1986 by the current Managing Director Terry Hitchen.� Terry spent his entire working life in the wire rope industry, eventually passing the reigns to daughter Siobhan before his well earned retirement. The company provides a wide range of wire rope products, assemblies and lifting equipment to a diverse customer base, working with wire ropes from 1mm to 16mm plus.� The company has fast become the market leader in supplying all types of wire rope rigging equipment to the Theatre and Entertainment markets throughout Europe. In 1995 Rope Assemblies Ltd developed Galvanized Black wire rope, a process which ensures that, whilst giving a non-reflective black coating to the wire rope, the protective galvanizing of the wire remains intact therefore ensuring no damage or corrosion can occur. The development of the Black Range of Luminaire Safety Bonds led to the company being awarded "Product of the Year 1999" by the ABTT. ��Rope Assemblies were again awarded by the ABTT this time for "Widget of the Year" when they introduced the Frog in 2005.� With a high stock volume and next day delivery service on the majority of our products, we ensure that our customers are supplied with the right product at the right price to the right place.
